My art prints are delivered unframed.
When choosing a frame, I recommend going for one size larger than the size of the print, and adding a mat, or "passepartout" to surround the subject. (Many picture frames have a mat included.) Giving the print plenty of whitespace around it will make it "pop" more, and be more visible on your wall.
So for exmple, if you've bought an A5-sized print, buy an A4-sized picture frame with a mat, and that mat will nicely frame and enhance the subject of the print. Or, you can skip the mat, and choose a frame that's as large as the print. That will still give you plenty of space around the subject.
