Art for bird lovers and nature romantics

Do you pause when you hear birdsong? It was my deep love for birds that led me to watercolor painting. Being in nature calms me down, and watching birds makes me happy. I paint to convey that special stillness you only get on a forest walk, or when standing by the ocean. And to capture a little bit of a bird's spirit onto paper, to keep as company. Welcome to stay a while and get inspired. Maybe you'll find your favorite bird captured with my brushstrokes.

Hi, I'm Louise

A few years ago, I was a burned-out freelance writer and web designer. *cue the sad violins*

I went on sick leave, and after a few months of panicking, (and apathetic knitting, gardening, and bread baking), I re-discovered my love of art. I healed myself by painting birds in watercolor, and eventually embarked on a whole new career as an artist, art educator, and creative mentor.

Today, I sell my paintings to collectors all over the world, and I help other creatives improve at their craft, and build businesses that don't burn them out.
