Birds are the perfect watercolor subject…

At least for me. (I might be biased, being such a bird nerd myself.)

I’ve never been much for florals or landscapes when it comes to watercolor. But for small wildlife - and birds in particular - it’s the perfect medium. The vibrancy of the colors, the transparency of the paint, the delicacy of the brush strokes… A match made in heaven. 👌🏻

Birds make me happy: watching them, hearing them, and painting them. I would love for you to enjoy painting birds as much as I do, and getting to fill your walls with your own little menagerie.

But, birds are not the easiest painting subject out there. Drawing wings and beaks and bird feet accurately can be very tricky. And how do you capture all those gorgeous colors and textures in watercolor, in a believable way?

This took me years of study, practice, and many failed paintings, to learn. And in this course, I’m sharing my full process + best tips with you.
